The Village Heart precinct is a multipurpose area comprising living, hospitality, office and retail opportunities. The vibrancy of the precinct attracts significant parking congestion issues within its bounds and along its periphery, creating conflict between visitors and residents.
Be Engineering Solutions was engaged by The City of Prospect to undertake parking surveys that cover the Village Heart and Village Heart Buffer Precincts. The surveys were conducted during peak periods on both weekdays and weekends through February 2022 to capture parking controls and demands. Recommendations were provided as part of the assessment to increase parking efficiency in the precinct.
