The Riddoch Highway (A66) is a vital transport corridor connecting Dukes Highway to Port MacDonnell, serving as a key route for freight and regional travel. Within the Naracoorte township, the intersection of Jenkins Terrace and Aitchison Avenue required critical safety and functionality improvements to enhance traffic flow and reduce risks for road users. The Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT) engaged BE Engineering Solutions (BEES) to perform an existing conditions day and night Road Safety Audit (RSA) and to deliver concept designs with actionable recommendations for improving the intersection’s safety and efficiency.
